The Motherhood Question: A Guided Journal for Women Seeking Clarity

A gentle, deeply thoughtful workbook for women who are tired of carrying this question alone — and ready to understand what they truly want.

Living With the Question Is Heavier Than Choosing

You can imagine both lives - with or without a child. You can feel drawn to both paths. And holding them at the same time can be exhausting.

The clock feels louder. The pressure keeps building. And the question never really leaves you alone.

Nothing is wrong with you. You’re taking a life‑defining decision seriously. And I'd like to help.

You Don’t Have to Decide Today.
You Just Need Clarity.

“This isn’t a quiz. This isn’t a formula. This is a journey inward.”

What to Expect

This is a compassionate workbook for women seeking their truth about becoming a mother or remaining child-free. With the help of over 150 questions, the goal is to bring you clarity, and to touch on some important themes:

→ External pressure is real, but it's not your truth

Family expectations, societal timelines, biological clocks, partner desires, friend comparisons—all of these are loud. This workbook is designed to help you turn down that noise so you can hear your own voice.

→ Both paths are valid

Motherhood is profound. So is a child-free life. Neither is a consolation prize. Neither guarantees happiness or fulfillment. Both require intention, choice, and courage.

→ Clarity brings freedom

Even if the decision feels heavy right now, there is deep peace on the other side of knowing what you want. Once you're clear, you can commit. You can stop second-guessing. You can build the life that's yours.

The workbook is divided into 8 sections:

  1. Looking Back - Exploring the stories you were told about motherhood, family, and womanhood

  2. Looking Inward - Discovering who you are now—your values, your joys, your definition of a meaningful life

  3. Looking Forward (With a Child) - Imagining motherhood honestly and fully

  4. Looking Forward (Without a Child) - Imagining a child-free life honestly and fully

  5. The Practical Realities - Considering resources, logistics, and support systems

  6. Fears & Doubts -  Examining what scares you about each path

  7. Your Inner Compass - Tuning into gut feelings, body wisdom, and the quiet voice beneath the noise

  8. Synthesis & Next Steps - Reflecting on what's emerged and exploring paths forward
