Why Did I Start The Pause?
After several conversations with friends and clients about their lives, focus and dreams, the idea of "low effort" coaching came up. Some people are interested in my programs, but don’t have the budget. Some have done all my programs, and want to maintain their practice. Some don’t want any programs, but do appreciate tips and tricks to deal with the ups and downs of daily life.
One theme that came up in almost all those conversations is stress. Or, better said, the impact of stress - on our mindset, on our bodies. It seems we’re becoming more aware of it, yet we are still being pulled into a dozen different connections, trying to keep 12 plates up in the air & spinning, and having never-ending to-do lists.
All these conversations connected and a new idea formed. What if the next step isn’t about offering more things — not another program, not another checklist — but instead, offering a space? A place where people can take a moment to simply be. Not to fix, not to hustle, but to reconnect. With themselves. With their breath. With a moment of quiet in a world that rarely pauses.
It’s a simple idea. It’s not complicated nor fancy. “Just” a community where I'll send little moments of calm twice a week. Journal prompts that have helped me find clarity. Voice notes with gentle meditations for overwhelming moments. Videos that can help release anxiety when it feels like too much.
The moments of greatest transformation rarely come from pushing yourself to the limit. They often come in the quiet spaces – during meditation, in conversation with a close friend, on walks with my phone in airplane mode, in the margins of books I’m reading.
That's the energy I want to bring to this community. Not "here's another thing you should be doing," but "here's an invitation to stop doing for a moment and simply be."
